Motif Neck Shawl Free Crochet Pattern

Materials

• 2 pieces Snowball Ak-Soft Salmon (1873) color rope

• 5 mm crochet

Shawl consists of 15 full motifs and 6 half motifs.

Full Motif

1) 6 chains are looped to the first chain to form a loop.

2) 3 chains, 2 double crochets in the ring (collected with the leading chain), 4 chains, 3 double crochets (all in one loop), 2 chains, 3 double crochets (all in one loop), 4 chains, 3 double crochet (all in one stitch), 2 chains, 3 double crochet (all in one stitch), 4 chains, 3 double crochet (all in one stitch), 3 chains, 3 double crochet (all in one stitch) ), 4 chains, 3 double crochets (all collected in a single loop), 3 chains and dense needles in the leading double crochet space. (Consists of 4-cornered motif)

3) 3 chains, 2 double crochets are made into the space and railings are collected together. (Double crochets are collected together at the corners.) 4 chains, 3 double crochets, 3 chains, 3 double crochets in the second space (not collected), 3 chains, 3 double crochets in the corners, 4 chains, 3 double crochet continues.

4) Corners are always made the same way. The crochets between the sides are increased by 2 crochets and 7 crochets.

5) Corners are made in the same way. The crochets between the sides are increased by 2 crochets and 11 crochets.

Half Motif Making

1) 6 chains are looped to the first chain to form a loop.

2) 5 chains, 3 double crochets (gathered together), 3 chains, 3 double crochets (gathered together), 4 chains, 3 double crochets (gathered together), 3 chains, 3 double crochets (done together) together, 4 chains, 1 double crochet.

3) Go back with 5 chains, 3 double crochets in the first space (collects together for being a corner), 3 chains, 3 double crochets in the second space (no crochets) 3 chains, 3 double crochets in the corner, 4 chains, 3 double crochet, 3 chains, 3 double crochets, 3 chains, 3 double crochets, 4 chains, 1 double crochet

4) Return with 5 chains, 3 double crochets to the first space, 3 chains, crochets between the sides of the crochet is increased by 2’s 7 crochet. 3 chains, corner, 3 chains, 7 crochets, 3 chains, 3 double crochets, 4 chains, 1 double crochet

5) Go back with 5 chains, finish with 3 double crochets, 3 chains, 11 crochets, 3 chains, corner, 3 chains, 3 double crochets, 4 chains, 1 double crochet.

You can create a triangular shawl either by knitting the motifs or by stitching them afterwards. You can pass 1 row of needles all around the shawl.

You can decorate your shawl with tassels.
